B. LAVATSKY MUSEUM

Located in Hopkins Grove, IA (Polk County) not far from the State Capital. This museum in a store house for all sorts of odd items, and has a large underground area not open to the public. For the literary minded this museum might suggest similarities to Miscatonic University in the stories of H.P.Lovecraft. Deep underground are great cavernous chambers holding a staggering array of arcane artifacts gathered from all over the world. Here also are the main tabernacles of the Abaddon Society, as well as, perhaps, the living quarters of Abaddon himself. Certainly his main offices are located there. (Its name is taken from Madame Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, one of the foremost proponents of Eastern religious, philosophical, and occult ideas of her day. She was a Russian born mystic and co-founder of the Theosophical Society.)(vol.3
