Head of the Acquisitions Department, B. Lavatsky Museum. (Name taken from Heinrich Kramer who co-wrote the Malleus Maleficarum with Jacob Sprenger in 1489. This book was the major classic of witch-hunting, establishing the methods used by the Church in examinations of witches, including brutal torture in all cases and conviction upon the slightest shred of evidence.
