Fairfield Cat Murders

Jefferson: Someone broke into the Fairfield Animal Shelter in March and brutally murdered several cats with blunt weapons of some kind. Theft was ruled out as a motive as nothing of value was taken. The cats were beaten to death in a most cruel fashion. As yet there are no suspects and no group or individual has come forward to claim responsibility.
