IOWA UFO UPDATE

submitted by Charles Williams

Pottawattamie: On Monday night, February 5th, ham radio operator Hector B. Hernandez overheard a startling UFO encounter while listening to radio traffic on the air. According to an IUFORN report, Hernandez eavesdropped on a conversation between the Council Bluffs Airport tower and Pan Midwest Flight 112 on 118.300 MHz. Another unidentified air crew also joined the conversation. The following is a word for word transcript made by Hernandez from the tape recording he made of the incident:

FLIGHT 112: Jesus fucking H Christ! What the holy shit is that!?!

2nd JET: Look out! They're [the UFOs] coming right at you! They're going to hit!!

FLIGHT 112: Negative, negative! They just turned away---a 90 degree turn at incredible speed! I hope that's one of ours....

TOWER: Flight 112, report your status.

FLIGHT 112: We are heavy; we have 204 souls on board and fifty thousand [pounds of] fuel. We are just over Miller's Hollow. I don't think these things are trying to hit us, but we can't be sure they won't. They are moving at fantastic speeds...do you have them on radar?

TOWER: We are tracking, 112, but movement is erratic and position difficult. Maintain visual as long as possible.

FLIGHT 112: Objects vectoring southeast...there seems to be a meteor or some kind of space debris coming down.

TOWER: Radar contacts inconclusive, say again, 112, do you wish to report a UFO sighting?

FLIGHT 112: [very long pause] No, tower, we have nothing to report.

2nd JET: We heard you. Nothing to report, either. I am making sure our passengers are all right, and that they don't have anything to report.

UNIDENTIFIED VOICE: You guys have seen more than your share of UFOs. I know I have.

TOWER: Who are you? Please identify yourself." [No response] Flight 112, go to the emergency frequency. We will want to meet with your crew when you land.

We have heard this tape and the evidence is amazing. However, authorities from the Airport and the NTSB deny its authenticity. No record of Flight 112 can currently be found. We implore anyone who was on that flight to come forward with your story. Please present your ticket stub with the flight number as evidence.
