IOWA'S SENSUOUS CZECH VISIONARY,
SISTER KASI

Dear Sister,

I was thinking about buying a Ouija Board, but I was told not to get one. Some people told me that they had some bad experiences with the board. What do you think?

Tempted to Tap Tables in Ankeny

     Dear Tempted,

Try reading this book..."Ouija, the most dangerous game" by Stoker Hunt. I have the book and found it to be guite informative. Just one thing to remember ALWAYS is that the Ouija board is not a game, it is a tool/doorway in which to communicate with the Spirit realm. However you never can be too sure of what or who you will be opening the door to. Problems occur when those who treat it as a game and don't respect the abilities that has, use it and don't take the neccessary precautions that one should follow. Educate yourself in it's use and then decide if it's the route for you. Use it with great care.

     Dear Kasi,

You're supposed to be some kind of visionary, but you just give majikal advice to people. Do your really make predictions? And if you do, what does your divination majik tell you will happen in 1998?

     Skeptical in Burlington

     Dear Skeptical,

Yes, I do make predictions, but generally I don't communicat them to the outside world, just individual clients, but since you choose to challenge me publicly, I will bow down and answer your request.

I predict that in this year we will see a world so ravaged by disease that all other concerns will pale in comparison. Malaria will return in a form which will be impossible to combat by conventional means. There will be a volcanic eruption in Nanson, IA. There will be an emissary from Canada sent to meet with the Greater Maple Avenue Reich to inspect their ability to launch an attack with weapons of mass destruction. Sometime after the summer solstice we will see the world on the brink of economic collapse. There will be a tornado in the Midwest that will be so big as to cause people to die of fear simply by looking at it, and the cause of this tornado will be proven to be military weather control satelites in space. Due to a shortage of food world wide, certain areas of Iowa will turn to cannabalism in mimic of reports of this practice in Eastern Europe...this will be mostly trendy areas of University communities who look to Europe for all fashion advice. The foundation of a public building in Hopkins Grove will collapse, revealing a tunnel to a giant underground pyramid structure in that town. Oh, and you are going to die next month.

     Dear Sister,

Salutations. I am the fool in his most empty headed aspect. I have just begun studying Tarrot and I am lost. Some cards are easy for me to understand and others make only fleeting sense after long periods of reflection.

What can I do to get my divination in high gear?

     Flipping The Deck in Mechanicsville

     Dear Flipping,

First of all, 'reflection' is not necessarily the best way to approach Tarot in the beginning, 'study' is much more important in the beginning and perhaps most importantly, memorization. The tarot most people use today is based on a particular system of symbolism, and it's very helpful to learn that system (and the basics of it can be grasped quite readily, but the rest will take time). Don't expect it to come quickly, be prepared for the learning to take a while. There are many good books on the subject, but you will quickly find that each book's author had a different opinion about the subject matter. I would suggest you meet with readers of the deck and discuss the entire matter with a reader you trust, they will guide you on your way.
