"Mysterious Stealth Aircraft"

     Seen Over Aerodyne

Palo Alto: University Of Emmetsburg Paranormal Investigator, Horst Wessel, announced that he has evidence that an advanced military stealth aircraft has been developed at the University Of Emmetsburg Aerodyne Jet Propulsion Laboratories and is being flight tested in the Emmetsburg area. Wessel's announcement follows hard on recent local sightings of fast moving lights appearing in the sky similar to those seen by two college students from Ames on Highway 69 some 29 mile north of Des Moines (see: Report From The Iowa UFO Research Network, November, 1997, vol. 4, #11).

According to Emmetsburg Police Sergeant Angelo O'Malley, at 10:30 PM the night of April 13, he and several patrons leaving The Weeping Torpedo on the Lakefront Mall saw a trio of amber and bluish white lights descend from high in the sky and disappear at the south end of Five Mile Lake. O'Malley says that the same thing happened every other night that week when there was fair weather.

Recently, other two more witnesses came forward with their encounter with the unusual lights. According to these witnesses, (who asked that their names be witheld), on the night of April 23, they were heading back to shore after lingering too long on the lake fishing for walleye when a trio of very bright amber and bluish-white lights appeared high in the northwestern sky, racing southeast towards the southern tip of Five Island Lake. Suddenly, the lights swooped down from high altitude to within two hundred feet of the lake surface and then hovered for a minute or two. The fisherman described the sole sound from the craft as being a very loud hum that they felt in their chests rather than heard. From the lights reflected in the water, the two were able to see that the craft was triangular or bat-shaped and appeared to be no bigger than twenty feet. While still hovering, the craft executed a series of three wing-tip rolls or "flip-flops" as one witness described, and then zoomed back up into the night sky, marking its exit with a faint sonic boom.

Horst Wessel says he has seen an aircraft capable of such incredible aero-gymnastics being towed in and out of a hanger on the Aerodyne Jet Propulsion Laboratories campus.

Says the U of E Senior, "On April 10, I brought my 12 inch telescope to a spot where I can observe Aerodyne's hanger about four miles away.

Now, because I got turned down for a work-study job this spring with the U of E Classics Community Outreach Program, I couldn't buy a camera mount for the telescope---so I don't have any photos. The aircraft---or ship, rather, since I am now very certain it has been back-engineered from alien technology---is bat-shaped , has no visible sign of a jet engine or propeller of any kind, and has an almond shaped ridge on top containing the cockpit. It is painted completely black and from what I could tell, there was no glass. Maybe this ship is flown totally by computer control or perhaps via some sort of near-virtual reality interface. Now, it must be remembered that I never saw this ship move under its own power, but watching the hanger crew take special care to keep its surface sparklingly clean imparts to me that whenever it flies, it moves at incredible speed. This ship then is very probably what people have seen flying over the lake late at night."

Director of Aerodyne Labs, Dr. Immelman Stahl could not be reached for a response to Wessel's claims. A public relations spokesperson for Aerodyne also declined to comment, adding "Aerodyne is not in the business of supplying grist to the rumor mills of small town cranks!"
