AN URGENT MESSAGE TO THE READERSHIP OF THIS MAGAZINE

submitted by Father Alcott,

Dear Reader,

I write you today in the interest of nothing less than your immortal souls. I live in Hopkins Grove, and we pray daily for the divine removal of the repository of darkness known as the B. Lavatsky Museum. I have, as you are no doubt aware, battled with dark forces which have manifested themselves in the form of demonic possessions, bizarre unnatural events, and horrific monstrous mutations of God's Creation. I have dispatched vampires and expelled devils. I can attest to the truth of what is printed in these pages, and I can likewise attest to the fact that one who dwells in the secret cavernous confines below that wretched eyesore known as the B. Lavatsky is responsible for much of the evil in this state. His name is Hans Abbadon, and he is the driving force behind what is reported in this monthly journal. His interest is hardly profit...not in the monetary sense.

Abbadon, which is unsurprisingly the Hebrew name for the destroying angel, is a person who has been alive for literally thousands of years and is the founder of an ancient secret society he intends to revitalize through this publication. Many of you who subscribe to this magazine are no doubt unaware that there are hidden codes and sigils-even the way the text is laid out on the page is specifically designed to create a magical effect. Each subscriber is inducted-without their knowledge or consent-into the Abbadon Society (not to be confused with the Audubon Society). Each time a subscription is renewed, you unwittingly move one step higher in the Society. I can not tell you what all this means, but I tell you that if Hans Abbadon is behind it, is not good at all!

Do not go to the website! There, the insidious plot is thickest! By even touching the magazine or accessing the website you interfere with the UNSEEN WORLD, and placing your life, soul, and probably your death all in the hands of the Devil. I have seen good people, such as Mica Bercowitz, who ran the souvenir counter at B. Lavatsky, reduced to insanity by coming into contact with these dark forces. She totally lost her mind due to her interaction with Abbadon and his bizarre management style at the museum. At first she thought the artifacts and texts were fun, the magazine a unique way to express herself as a free-lance writer, but what she didn't realize was that the magazine was a key to the door of the unseen world and now she rocks back and forth in her cell in Massaraty Asylum, screaming at the tormentors in her mind. She will suffer a long time in this world before being released to her final agonies in Hell.

It is not too late for you. End your subscription. Burn copies of the magazine. Buy them just to burn them. Don't tell any of your friends about this magazine. Deny that it exists.!

Keep an eye out for others who evidence an alienation from family, friends, and religion; who have a drastic change in behavior, with an increase in rebellious attitudes. Make note of any involvement in fantasy and role playing games. Do they listen to "heavy metal music" or seem obsessed with fornication? Make a note of it. Do these people you suspect have an interest in natural oddities, the occult, drugs, inverted values, horror films, and seem to take delight in the suffering of others? Laughing when an old woman falls on the ice or a cook accidentally cuts of his thumb? Make a note of it! These are all signs that it may already be too late. Lock any loved one suspected of intercourse with the Devil in a closet and call for ecclesiastical assistance immediately!

If you are an adolescent, intelligent or creative, bored with traditional pursuits, lack a sense of belonging, feel powerless, are angry at being labeled an underachiever even though you know you are superior to everyone you have ever met.....I urge you to get help before Abbadon has you in his grasp! Contact The Center for the Treatment of Ritualistic Deviance at the Hartgrove Hospital in Chicago, IL (773)-722-3113.

If you have any information on the activities going on in connection with the Abbadon Society or the B. Lavatsky Museum, contact us at the church in Hopkins Grove (I am also available for exorcisms and monster exterminations). If you live in Iowa City, I have seen posters for a group called Galations 4:16, which seem to indicate that they are laboring against dark forces and collecting information on the occult in Iowa. Their address is PO Box 3295, Iowa City, IA 52244---but as I have never seen anything but their posters, I can not personally vouch for their motives, methods, or results.

     Yours in Christ,

     Fr. Alcott

Editor's note: This letter was printed out of respect for the role which the good father has played in several stories reported here and as proof that Third Eye Over Iowa is a public forum. For the record, however, Third Eye Over Iowa has no formal affiliation with the B. Lavatsky other than as a research resource. Nor is there evidence to suggest the existence of any subbasement levels in that structure. To the best of our knowledge our editor in chief, Mr. Abbadon, lives in the stately home he owns on Armitage Street in Hopkins Grove. Why would you live in a museum basement when you own a home worth almost a million dollars? Lastly, and with all due respect, we consider Father Alcott to be insane.
