Unknown Naked Stalker Identified

Cedar: With the aid of a composite artist, Zoar Police have been able to identify a suspect in a series of strange nocturnal stalking incidents reported by members of the Kappa Sigma Theta Sorority on the campus of Georg von Podebrad College. The string of eight reported night time incidents began on January 21 and continued until February 12 and all involved a single man, aged between 19 and 23, who followed women home to the sorority. What is so striking is that though the weather was bitterly cold, sometime with dangerous wind chills as low as minus 35 degrees, the young man was naked.

Police have identified the man as Nathan Elmendinger, 23, a former student at Georg von Podebrad College.

Unfortunately for police, Elmendinger has been in a persistent vegetative state for nearly 3 years at the Podebrad Medical Center following a June 3rd, 1994 car crash.

"Damnedest thing!" remarked Police Chief Jim Branson. "I swear to hell we had the kook that was stalking these girls and then it turned out to be that kid in the coma again. The phone business was weird enough, but this---you just gotta wonder, you know."

Lawyers for the victims have announced they are stymied. "In the face of our suit failing against the Elmendinger family this fall, we're assessing our position," says Edgar Simon, lawyer for one of the victims.

The Elmendinger Family has declined to comment on the matter.
