Early Iowa Was Colonized By

     Denizens Of A Jovian Moon

Palo Alto: It is important that you believe me right now. I have little time for the niceties of persuasion. I only present raw facts; undeniable accounts of events and evidence I have personally witnessed. I am very tired of ridicule and laughter; my evidence, my facts---all of it is shockingly real, requiring only its merit to stand.

     FACT 1:

     The planet Jupiter has a moon named "Io". The piece of real estate lying between the Mississippi and the Missouri has been known as "Iowa" since before the first whites clamped eyes on it.

     THIS IS MORE THAN COINCIDENCE!!!
     The name "Iowa" is taken from the Souix Indian name (possibly from the Dakota) Ayuba meaning the sleepy or drowsy ones. This insulting appellation was originally thought by many historians and ethnologists to apply to the Iowa Indian Tribe, but it has now become clear through numerous reliable sources that the term referred to alien colonists who occupied part of Iowa during the early part of the Oneota period (approximately 1250 AD).

     These Extraterrestial Colonists came from a hostile, cold world and were physically ill suited for life in their new home on Earth. For much of the year, the temperature was too hot and it has been suggested by a number of reliable sources that the alien physiology was unable to cope as was their technology. Coming from an icy world like Io, they never needed to develop adequate cooling systems for domestic use. The colonists spent much of the time completely sunk in torpor. Another physiological factor was Earth gravity. Until the colonists were able to develop enough endoskeletal strength, their activities were severely limited. Thus, for years, these alien colonists were too addled by heat and physical weakness to carry on anything productive for most of the year, and were forced into relying wholly upon the native population for food and water. This went on for many years until the colonists died out.

     FACT 2:

     Lost radio transmissions to Io from this lost alien colony can still be monitored using specially adapted FM receivers. It is regraded as a certain fact amongst most experts in the field of recovering ancient alien transmissions that these ancient aliens relied more heavily on radio communications than they do now. These communications , however, passed through hyperspace to save time and provide immediate real time communication. Some of these radio transmissions, however, were subject to wave propagation. This caused a portion of their signals to replicate themselves at the verge of the hyperspace tunnel. For thousands of years, these propagated waves have bounced around the solar system and are now audible in the 5Mhz to 6Mhz range. To the untrained ear, they seem to be static that repeats at alternating intervals. Research with sophisticated equipment made to my own specifications is planned in the near future to decipher just what these signals say.

     FACT 3:
     Infrared photography coupled with computer assisted imaging software has identified several areas in both Putnam and Palo Alto counties that are either ancient alien burial grounds or colony sites.

     I have personally seen these photos. The people responsible for them provided them to me at great personal risk. I can not name them here as their safety maybe compromised given the recent violent attacks on the personnel of this magazine. The photos clearly show large circular features ringed by old growth trees. Ground vegetation is unusually lush here.

     But these same areas have been clandestinely acquired by the Federal Government. In Palo Alto County, the entire town of Fairville was purchased in 1951 by the Bureau of Land Management and repopulated by employees of an as yet unknown US Government security agency. It should be noted here, that the largest burial/colony site is in Fairville. The infrared photos were taken by flying a remote controlled miniature helicopter equipped with a camera into the area. When its job was finished, the helicopter returned with numerous bullet holes in it.

     SUMMATION:

     Many will scoff at these facts. Many in the "reputable" science community will ignore them. Many at the University of Emmetsburg have already pointed out my recent arrest at U of E Aerodyne Labs for public nudity as being symptomatic of a disordered mind. I, however, was not responsible for that incident as many of my associates will testify that I had been poisoned with a potent hallucinogenic salve derived from belladonna and mandrake. This substance was smeared on my body unknowingly by a young woman the night before. I now have proof from reliable experts that she was a US intelligence agent from Fairville bent on discrediting me and my work.

     Let them be warned that I will expose such "towns" for the Big Brother-villes that they are.
